ZEITENSPIEGEL wurde 1985 im schwäbischen Waiblingen gegründet und residiert heute in Weinstadt bei Stuttgart, mit Korrespondenten in Hamburg und Havanna, Mailand, Norwegen und Brüssel. Dem Netz gehören mehr als zwei Dutzend Fotografen und Autoren an. ZEITENSPIEGEL-Reportagen aus allen fünf Kontinenten erscheinen in allen großen deutschen und vielen internationalen Magazinen.
ZEITENSPIEGEL-Fotografen sind unter den Preisträgern des World Press Photo Award zu finden, die Autoren sind bei wichtigen deutschen Journalistenpreisen mit vorn dabei. Die außergewöhnliche Struktur, die Fotografen und Autoren in einer Agentur vereint, erlaubt es ZEITENSPIEGEL regelmäßig redaktionell komplette Hefte oder Supplements zu realisieren.
ZEITENSPIEGEL – a mirror of our times – was founded in 1985 in Waiblingen (Swabia) and today is based in Weinstadt near Stuttgart, with correspondents in Hamburg and Havana, Milan, Norway and Brussels. More than two dozen photographers and features writers belong to the network. Zeitenspiegel reports from all five continents appear in all the big German magazines and many international ones.
ZEITENSPIEGEL photographers are to be found among the holders of the World Press Photo Award, and the features writers too are at the top of their profession, having won a number of important German prizes for journalism. The unusual arrangement which unites photographers and features writers under one roof allows ZEITENSPIEGEL to regularly produce booklets or supplements for which the agency takes full editorial responsibility.
